Sooooo, as you may have guessed Russell is now crawling. Its not quite zooming w/the-belly-off-the-ground-type but has progressed into how-do-i-get-my-toys-and-explore-because-I-have-no-intrest-in-anything-else. lol. He got a Bongo for Easter and he looooves it! He is so smart too. And loving. This morning Deano was watching Little Eisteins and was "helping" them do something so him and Russell were shouting at the TV. It was so cute. And Russell totally thought he was accomplishing something lol. He just fell asleep in my lap. All day he has been fussy and last night/today has not slept well. It's very difficult when he gets like this because he demands my attention but I still have to get my housework done and also take care of Deano.
Deano has lately been on this kick about how he feels that "daddy is not spending enough time w/me." I think he just feels like he should getting to do more "big boy" things. He asked if Joseph will take him fishing so he's looking forward to that ALOT.
The girls have started soccer. So far Im bummed because they've had their first two games cancelled. But I overheard one of the other moms saying how she was glad that they had some "scrappy" kids this year. lol. Their report cards came in and they have both done very well. Natasha brought her grades back up again and didnt have complaints about not participating in PE. Jayden is really workin hard for that "Nook". Natasha actually asked me if she would be allowed to get one too, I told her that her grades would have to go up and stay up, she did bring them up, so we shall see.
Alot is going on w/my mother-in-law. She has been very ill and they've recently found some growths in her lymph nodes. She's one of those miracle people who pulls through everything and noone knows how other than the Grace of God. This times not looking so well though. Its been quite a rough patch. I have been having a rough time dealing with everything. I feel like things are just very compounded. I go through a few days of "suck it up and be strong for everyone else" because as a woman its supposed to be my resposibility to tie everything together, (right?) then I go through a day or two or more of barely any sleep and the house not being taken care of and my schedule gets messed up and I cant breathe deep enough to relax and things just crumble apart and nothing goes right and I just want to cry and all my nerves feel fried. Joseph has been a wonderful husband and has stepped up alot since the end of my pregnancy w/being home at night and trying to help me more. Maybe I'm just frustrated. I am not complaining at all btw, venting maybe, but definetly not complaining.
I've turned more and more to God, especially as my little ones grow, and am doing more to explain and show them things. I try very very hard to help get the most knowledge about every area of life (that is appropriate), that I can and to make them feel loved and cherished and know how blessed they are. And now I am too emotional and frazzled to keep writing.
